Two Rome men have been arrested in connection with several burglaries in the Rome area.

Rome Police have charged 26-year old Josey Schultz and 19-year old Nicholas Ayers with burglary.

The burglaries began in late July and targeted storage sheds and garages in the northeast section of the city.

Police say they've recovered several thousand dollars worth of stolen property and they're trying to identify possible owners.

Anyone who may have recently had their shed or garage broken into is asked to contact the Rome PD at 339-7715.
