After literally spending the last two months following April the giraffe, and the story of her newborn baby, the giraffe cam will go offline coming up this afternoon. Be sure to join them for one final goodbye.

Remember when your phone at data, you got work done, and spent time with family? That was some 8 billion viewing minutes ago. April the Giraffe not only struck Central New York, she went viral worldwide. 1.2 million people tuned in for the live birth. However, the cam that you may be still watching is coming to an end on Friday, April 21st at 4:30PM.

Although the giraffe cam will no longer be available, there are several other ways to stay up to date with your new favorite giraffe family. Text subscribers will continue to receive exclusive content and weekly updates on April, Oliver and the newborn calf through May 31st. Sign up for these alerts, the only cost is what ever you pay for texting through your cellphone provider. For now, feel free to help the park name April's new baby.

The Animal Adventure Park Facebook page will also continue to update followers on April, Oliver, the calf and various other park attractions and events. A new season for the park is coming up on May 13th, and be sure to come out and see April in person. The park can't thank the internet enough for being very warm, and of course patient too.
