After almost two decades in business, Portabello's restaurant in Fly Creek will wash the dishes for the last time.

For 15 years, residents and visitors to Fly Creek had the option of dining on amazing Mediterranean cuisine at Portabello's.

Now, the owners have decided to close up shop and pursue other dreams.

On the homepage of Portabello's website, the announcement reads:

For fifteen years, the Kantor family has welcomed you to Portabello's, your home away from home. Sadly, we are closing this chapter of our restaurant. Debbie will be travelling more with her husband, Al. Josh has launched Vital Trends, Inc. which offers quality solutions to life's challenges.

The Kantors have enjoyed having you over for dinner.

We want to hear some of your memories from Portabello's. Did you stop there on your way to Cooperstown, or after visiting the Fly Creek Cider Mill?
