Anderson Cooper Apologizes To Buffalo Residents For Giggle Fit Over Dyngus Day

Anderson Cooper is having to backtrack after his latest giggle fit.  He added Dyngus Day to his Ridiculist, a holiday celebrated in three parts of the country with the biggest in Buffalo.  But he broke out laughing and couldn't stop.  He even went so far as to say, 'it's so stupid,' but folks in Buffalo aren't laughing. They are demanding a personal apology.

Dyngus Day is a Polish American tradition celebrating the end of Lent with drinking, parades and parties in Ohio, Indiana and Buffalo New York. They celebrate with boys sprinkling girls they like with water and the girls striking back with a tap from a pussy willow. I can't make this stuff up.

It's understandable the folks in Buffalo who celebrate this tradition are upset with Cooper's Ridiculist, but you have to admit, it does sound funny and it brought National attention to the town and the little known holiday.

This isn't the first time Cooper has lost his composure during his 'Ridiculist.'  He could barely hold it together after Gerard Depardieu's pee on the plane incident.
