Last night was the finale of the NBC’s singing competition ‘The Voice’. The competition was down to 4 finalists, Beverly McClellan, Dia Frampton, Javier Colon, and Vicci Martinez. Each of the finalists sang with music stars. Dia Frampton from “Team Blake” sang ‘The House That Built Me’ with Miranda Lambert. After the 4 finalists performed it was time for the results.

Javier Colon from “Team Adam” was named the winner of the first season of ‘The Voice’. Colon just beat out the runner up Dia Frampton by 2% of the vote. Talk about a nail-biting finale! Colon thanked his competitors and his family, along with his coach in the competition Adam Levine.

Colon will receive $100,000 and a recording contract as the winner of ‘The Voice’.  Season 2 will begin this winter.
