Amtrak and Greyhound Cancellations Continue

If you have plans to go to New York or other locations along the east coast via Amtrak or Greyhound be advised that many routes have been cancelled due to the ongoing problems caused by Hurricane Sandy. Since many travel plans include connections in New York City it may well be that travel plans to other parts of the country may also be affected.
Greyhound routes that most likely affect us in Central New York Include:
All service in/out of Binghamton, NY will be suspended @ 4:00 PM EDT on 10/29/12.
Service between Buffalo, NY and Syracuse, NY will be suspended @ 7:00 PM EDT on 10/29/12.
Service between Albany, NY and Syracuse, NY will be suspended @ 3:00 PM EDT on 10/29/12.
These routes will remain suspended until further notice. For updates click here or call 735-4471.
Amtrak has also suspended service through today for all trains going to or from New York City. However if you have plans to travel east to Albany you’re in luck.
.The Maple Leaf (Trains 63 & 64), will operate only between Toronto, Ontario, Canada and Albany-Rensselaer, N.Y., rather than originating and terminating at New York City.
For updates click here or call (315) 797-8962.
