American’s Still Not Taking All Their Vacation Time

We all look forward to our vacation time, a time to relax , travel and get away from the pressures and demands of the workplace. However according to StarPress.com American workers are not taking all of the vacation time they are entitled to. A recent study showed that 57% of American workers still have unused time at the end of the year as opposed to 26% of Europeans. The reasons are varied.
One obvious reason is the economy. Many families just have the money to take vacation trips. There are work related reasons too.
Roughly a third said they stayed put because of their workload, and 19% noted that they didn’t want to deal with a backlog of tasks upon their return.
