American Idol Scotty McCreery is Pure Country [Videos]

The Top 8 on American Idol went to the movies.  Scotty McCreery stuck to his country roots and chose George Strait’s “I Cross My Heart” from the movie Pure Country

Lauren Alaina took on Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” from Hannah Montana.  Producer Jimmy Iovine said she sang it better than Miley.

Haley and Paul could be in danger this week.  And I don’t know if America got Casey’s version of “Nature Boy.”  My prediction last week was way off, so anyone could be going home tonight.  The first Idol winner Kelly Clarkson returns with  Jason Aldean to sing “Don’t You Want to Stay.”  Tune in to FOX at 8 tonight to see who is sent home.  If you miss it, we’ll have your Idol update tomorrow morning.

So who do you think is going home tonight?
