Alteri’s Of Clinton Wins Best Pizza In ‘Best Of Utica’

After a strong week of voting, and over hundreds of votes calculated, who won best pizza in Central New York? Give a big round of applause to Alteri's of Clinton. 

The voting took place in our Best Of Utica contest.

Alteri's of Clinton has been serving up amazing food, and amazing drinks, since Valentine’s Day of 1953. John and Laura Alteri opened the doors and managed the restaurant until John’s death in 1960. They rebuilt after a fire in 1963, and the tradition was carried on by John’s son and daughter-in-law, Fernando “Feet” and Beverly, until 1998. Today, third-generation owner Fran Alteri manages his family’s warm, home-styled restaurant and seasoned bar. Congrats on the Best Pizza title!

Voting gave Alteri's 13% of the popular vote, followed by O'scugnizzo of Utica with 11.93%, and Joe's of Whitesboro with 8.52% of the votes.
