Allergy Season Worse Than Normal This Year
If you are in the throes of a sneezing, wheezing, runny nose allergy attack you probably don’t need to be told this. This springs allergy season has come earlier and is more intense than usual. According to the Huffington Post 22.8 percent of Americans reported suffering from allergy symptoms so far this April, compared to 20.8 percent in April 2011 and 21.8 percent in April 2010. What are the reasons for the early onset?
A new Gallup-Healthways report shows that this year’s allergy season is, indeed, stronger than the last, largely because the winter was so warm this year and because of the higher pollen counts throughout the U.S.
Relief can be had through prescription and over the counter medications as well as a number of holistic methods.
