Albany Makes NCAA Tournament On Miracle Shot

Peter Hooley not only saved the season for the Albany Great Danes, but he kept me out of the dog house too.  Watch him hit an amazing 3 pointer with 1 second left in the game, to send them to field of 64 in the NCAA tournament.

We were supposed to be meeting friends for an "after the parade" mixer, when the Great Danes fought their way back from a 7 point deficit with a couple of minutes left in the game. After multiple timeouts, officials' reviews and some free throws, the better half was getting impatient. Hooley saved me with a miracle shot that even had her screaming, "Oh My God." For the third-straight year, Albany is going dancing thanks to Peter Hooley. The junior guard’s three-pointer from the top of the key with the Great Danes trailing by two and just 1.6 seconds left lifted them to a 51-50 victory
