Albany Hosting Filming of Netflix's 'The Punisher'

Netflix's Marvel series 'The Punisher' is currently filming for season two of the show and will be there for at least a few more days.

The show follows former FBI agent Frank Castle on his quest for revenge after his family is brutally murdered. Castle takes on the underworld and decides to keep going in his mission to 'punish' those who prey on innocents after settling his own score.

According to the Albany Times-Union, the show is expected to continue filming in the Capitol until at least Saturday.

While the crew is in town, Albany Police and the production crew have warned residents not to be alarmed at simulated gunfire during the shoot.
