Cornell Cooperative Extension's 4-H program is offering a workshop for teens thinking about a career in dairy.  The "hands-on" workshop is for 14-19 year olds, and has a limited class size of 60.  This year's program is about Calf and Heifer Management.

The NYS 4-H Youth Development Program is March 27 and 28 at Morrison Hall on the Cornell campus.

Participants will get to meet Cornell faculty and students, learn about different aspects of dairy production management and dairy industry related careers. They will also be able to interact and exchange information with professional producers, industry experts, and more.

The workshop is $45 and includes dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday.  Lodging is available at an additional cost.  To register, contact Debbie Grusenmeyer at 607-255-0656 or e-mail djc27@cornell.edu.  Get programs, lodging information and more details at their website.
