Remington Arms is Hiring

Remington Arms in Ilion is hiring. After several round of layoffs last year, the Ilion plant is looking to rebuild their workforce.

Remington is currently hiring general assemblers, machine operators (2nd & 3rd shifts) and CNC Operators.

Anyone interested can go to Working Solutions at 320 North Prospect Street, Herkimer NY and apply in person.

Remington Arms is looking for 400 applicants but there's no word how many positions are open.

2014 was a rough year for the local plant. 80 jobs were moved from Ilion to Alabama while 105 were laid off in August. Another 126 employees were let go last November.
