Little Big Town shone the spotlight on child hungry in our country. They used their amazing harmonies on John Lennon's 'Imagine' and a song written by Hunter Hayes called 'Here's Hope.' When the choir of children joined in, it brought a tear to my eye. Think of all that money spent on a Mega Millions tickets Friday. It could have fed thousands of kids.
The much anticipated duet from Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw didn't disappoint. They joined the stage for 'Feel Like a Rock Star' which will be on Kenny's new album out in June.
The ACM Male vocalist of the year, Blake Shelton closed the show. He and Lionel Richie performed 'You Are' from Richie's Tuskegee album.
Blake Shelton had the honor of introducing his wife and the ACM female vocalist of the year, Miranda Lambert, who gave a heartfelt performance of 'Over You.' The song Blake & Miranda wrote together about the death of Blake's brother.
Keith Urban received the first standing ovation of the night for his performance of 'For You,' the song he wrote for about Navy Seals.
Steve Martin joined Rascal Flatts for a little pickin' on their song 'Banjo' as the room remembered pickin' legend Earl Scruggs who passed away.
Carrie Underwood opened the show with her new sassy song 'Good Girl,' which she looked anything but.
