As much as we don't want the cold weather to be here, it does mean the Holiday season is coming and that means our favorite Holiday television specials. ABC recently released their schedule for the 2015 season and as always, includes some of those classic family favorites.

Here are Five of the best Holiday Specials and when they will air according to MovieFone:

1. "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town"

Everyone remembers Fred Astaire's classic narration of this classic story about how Santa Claus came to be and how he saved the town from the wicked Burgermeister Meisterburger. This special will kick off the holiday programming schedule on Friday, November 27th @ 8 p.m.

2. "A Charlie Brown Christmas"

For each holiday Charles Schultz characters have brought great lessons and entertainment to millions of families. This year the special will celebrate it's 50th anniversary and before the airing of the classic, Kristen Bell will host a "holiday retrospective" on the season favorite. That special will air on Monday, November 30th at 8 p.m. with the actual special to air at 9 p.m.

3. "Shrek the Halls"

All the original characters are back for this half-hour Christmas special. Don't miss it on Thursday, December 3rd at 8:30 p.m.

4. "The CMA Country Christmas Special"

Jennifer Nettles returns with a slew of other country stars to celebrate the holiday with songs, skits, and more. This annual event will air Thursday, December 3rd from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.

5. "Happy New Year, Charlie Brown"
