A Double-Cross On The Double

Ok, we're not double-crossing anyone, but today our "Country Classic Double" features two country hits that crossed over on pop music charts. We lead off with one of my favorites, Glen Campbell's "Rhinestone Cowboy", which went to number one on the country charts in 1975, and was a huge pop hit as well.

Our second song of the "Double" is Anne Murray's "Could I Have This Dance", which went to number 1 in 1980 on country charts and hit big on the pop scene as well. Here's a classic video performance of "Rhinestone Cowboy" by Glen Campbell back in 1975 on the "Midnight Special".
