Week 2 of NFL action is in the books and it's time to find out how Luke Austin did with his fantasy football predictions. Did he help you out with your team or did you listen to his advice and lose big?

To begin with I personally lost in two out of three of my fantasy leagues in week two, but my predictions aren't focused on my teams they're focused on yours, so let's see how we did.

What Luke Got Wrong

Jared Goff, Rams QB - I figured he could score a few TD's against Washington, but alas, he only scored once and couldn't top 230 yards in the air.

Jay Cutler, Miami QB - Cutler was another deep reach for QB this week. If you just needed a few points from him this week you probably did alright, but if you needed a big week at the QB spot Cutler only managed one TD and 230 yards.

Jared Cook, Raiders TE - I said Cook would be a security blanket for Derek Carr, but apparently Carr didn't need any security this week. Cook only posted 4 receptions for 25 yards. Ouch.

Jesse James, Steelers TE - James was supposed to step up against a good Vikings Defense who I said would shut down Pittsburgh's top Offensive weapons. That should have left James open to gobble up stats, but he ended up with just 4 catches for 27 yards.

Kenny Golladay, Lions WR - Golladay is already a favorite target for Matthew Stafford, but against a stingy Giants Defense on Monday night he only managed 1 catch for 8 yards. While this was a miss for me in week 2, I suggest keeping him close to your starting lineup for the rest of the year.

What Luke Got Right

We had a question from Matthew from Frankfort asking if he should start Derek Carr or Drew Brees. I said he should go with Carr who ended up with 230 yards and 3 TD's. Win.

Mark from New Hartford asked if he should play Matthew Stafford against the Giants and I told him yes. While Stafford wasn't his week 1 self, he did still toss two TD's, not bad against that Defense.

Carlos Hyde, 49ers RB - I said he's a big part of the 49ers Offense since he was on the field for 78% of their week 1 offensive plays and he didn't disappoint. Hyde didn't score but a 124 yard rushing day with 3 receptions for 19 yards definitely helped your team. Especially if Hyde was a #2 or 3 RB option.

Ty Montgomery, Packers RB - This was my big win for week 2. I suggested Montgomery would be a great option particularly in PPR leagues. He was. His 6 receptions for 75 yards and another 35 on the ground only got better as he also got into the end zone twice. You're welcome!

Finally, I predicted terrible days for both the Colts' and Jets' fantasy players. Unless you had Jermaine Kearse from the Jets(if you did, hats off to you), you didn't get much if any production from anyone on those teams.

I'll be back on Friday with more predictions for week 3. If you have any roster moves, start/sit questions, or need general fantasy football advice, send your questions to Luke@BigFrog104.com.
