Soldier Surprises Daughter at Homecoming Game

For Waterville cheerleader Ryanne Solinsky, this past weekend's homecoming game had more than one meaning. She had just finished her routine when someone she hadn't seen in a long time emerged from the crowd to surprise her. It was her father, Major Christian Solinsky, who had just returned from his second tour of duty in Afghanistan.

You always see these types of stories across the country, but when it happens here in Central New York, it makes it that much sweeter! To me these stories will never get old and always choke me up. Ryanne told WKTV that this is a moment she will never forget and it's one of her favorite moments in life thus far.
