It's very rare nowadays to see couples staying married 60, 50, 40, even 10 years. For Bob Lowe from Hampshire, England it was over 60 years together with his wife, Kath, who died three years ago. He was interviewed recently on a BBC radio show and read a tear-jerking poem in honor of his late love, which he wrote.

Not only was the poem really well written, but you could hear the emotion in his words. It's so sad when an older person loses their life partner. I can imagine there is routines that are broken, restaurants they eat at that aren't the same, and the loneliness is probably unbearable. It took amazing courage and strength for Bob to share this.
