9 Things I’m Most Looking Forward To At Keith Urban’s ‘Light the Fuse’ Concert Tonight
Keith Urban is bringing his 'Light the Fuse' tour to Canandaigua Friday and I'm lucky enough to go. I haven't seen him since he was in Albany with Sugarland a few years ago, so I'm REALLY looking forward to it. Here's the 9 things I'm most excited about.
Hugs
This is at the top of my list. I can't wait to give Keith a big hug when I see him backstage! I hope he's ready. I know I am :)
Birthday Thanks
While I'm backstage I'll get to personally thank him for taking the time to send me a birthday card when I turned 40 this year. What a guy! I wonder if he'll remember the video I made, asking him to sing me Happy Birthday.
New Music
Since the tour is called 'Light the Fuse' I'm assuming he'll perform new music from his Fuse album, out September 10th. He's already previewed the first cut on the album 'Somewhere In My Car' online.
Tonight I Wanna Cry
I love watching and hearing Keith be vulnerable and there's no song more vulnerable than 'Tonight I Wanna Cry.' Plus we get to see him playing the piano. I have my cell phone light ready to raise in the air.
Fans On Stage
The last few concerts I've been to, Keith has brought fans on stage to sing along. A cool moment for the lucky ones he chooses AND for us watching.
Collaboration
Keith is on tour with Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch and since he usually brings his opening acts back on stage to sing with him, I'm excited to hear them together.
Jammin' on Guitar
Keith can do more than sing. He's one hell of a guitar player. I'd love to see him, Brad Paisley, Hunter Hayes and Zac Brown do a jam off. Those four are the best in the business on guitar.
Daughter Time
Since my husband has to work, my daughter is going to the concert with me. We haven't gone to a show together since I took her to see Rascal Flatts when she was just a toddler. She has been to a number of concerts, but with friends. And if I drink, now that's she's 17, I'll have a driver to take me home.
Keith Urban
He's Keith Urban. I get to stare at this beautiful man for over an hour and listen to his great music. Keith is after all, my hall pass for one night. Too bad I'm not on his list. If Nicole ever gets tired of him, I'll be sure to pass him my number :)
I'll be sure to take lots of pictures and video to share Monday morning.
Watch Keith Urban 'Little Bit of Everything' Video
The wait is FINALLY over! Keith Urban 's video for 'Little Bit of Everything' is here. It steals pages from the movies 'The Truman Show' with Jim Carey and 'The Adjustment Bureau' with Matt Damon. Keith is seen walking through several doors, into a completely different world.
