Trace Adkins is paying tribute to the men and women in uniform for Memorial Day weekend.  His latest song 'Semper Fi'  focuses on the Marines and he says he took extra steps to make sure the message was authentic.  Trace even showed the lyrics to a group of Marines before considering it finished.  'Semper Fi' is on Trace's 'Proud to Be Here' deluxe edition CD.  Check out a video with the song and clips from the Marines.

Trace isn't the only country artist to record a song for our troops.  Check out our Top 7 troop salutes.
