Avrie is battling cancer for a second time and she's only 7 years-old.  In 2011, the Rochester girl was diagnosed with Leukemia. With one month to go before she was considered 'cured,' her family found out she has cancer again.

Close family friend Irene Tymczyszyn says the cancer 'returned with a vengeance,' and her prognosis is only 40-50% this time.  Avrie's endured a platelet transfusion, lumbar puncture/spinal and blood transfusion, along with heavy doses of chemotherapy.

The recurrence is taking a toll on Avire's parents Adam and Kate Sinesio.

'We are reliving the worst nightmare of our lives. I truly don't think I have this in me. Walking these halls bring it all back.  I am just numb right now. My heart hurts. Please pray for our little Avrie she has already been through so much!!'

'Anyone who's a parent, or has a child in their life, you just start to cry. The silver lining is seeing everyone come together on a Facebook page created.' Tymczyszyn says in a whisper.

Tymczyszyn has heard from people around the world, touched by Avrie's story.  'Avrie has been an angel in other people's lives. Even though she's going through her own thing, there's was an estranged family, who saw the Prayers4Avrie Facebook page and are now getting back together after reading the story.'

Orange ribbons are tied around trees in town and everyone wore 'Orange For Avrie' Friday. Avire's parents Adam and Kate Sinesiou are touched by the outpouring of support. 'This is just incredible how Upstate New York comes together.'
