5,000 Already Signed Up For Boilermaker
January 25, 2012 10:10 AM The Boilermaker Road Race is the signature event of the summer, and it looks like this year’s race is well on its way with entries. While it’s only January, the popularity of the Boilermaker nationwide means that slots fill up well in advance of race day, Sunday, July 8th.
According to our sister station, WIBX:
“So far, nearly 5,000 people have signed up to take part in the 35th running of the Boilermaker.
Officials say registrations have come from 41 different states, the District of Columbia, and two different countries.
A cap of 14,00 runners has been set for the 15K race and 4,000 for the 5K.”
