Is the direction of country music changing yet again? The latest releases could be an indication traditional country music may be taking a back seat to a new sound that doesn't include anything about trucks OR drinking. Here's 5 new country songs you'll want to put on repeat.

1. Brett Eldredge 'Somethin' I'm Good At'

If you're a person who isn't really good at anything but making people smile, Brett Eldredge's 'Somethin' I'm Good At' is for you. The song is so catchy I was obsessed before the chorus.

2. Chris Janson 'Holdin' Her'

FrogFest29 headliner Chris Janson's autobiographical song about finding his wife will hit you straight through the heart. Vince Gill has called it the song of 2017 and we tend to agree.

3. Lady Antebellum 'You Look Good'

After taking a break, Lady Antebellum's is back with a bang. 'You Look Good' will catch your attention from the first note. It sounds like nothing on the radio right now and even include a horn section. Lady A you sound good!

4. Lauren Alaina 'Road Less Travelled'

Lauren Alaina is encouraging women to blaze their own trail in 'Road Less Travelled.' The American Idol runner up has walked the road paved with other's intentions and is now marching to her own drum. You go girl!

5. Zac Brown Band 'My Old Man'

One listen to Zac Brown Band's 'My Old Man' will leave you in tears. A tribute to fathers everywhere will become an instant hit that you'll want to not only dedicate to your old man, but put on repeat. The first time I heard it, it brought tears to my eyes, so be sure to have the tissues handy.

If these songs are any indication of the direction country music is heading, I'm looking forward to the future.
