Whether your teens are considering a future in local government or just want to be a contributing citizen, Cornell Cooperative Extension's NYS 4-H Youth Development Program  helps them understand how local government works and the services offered through an internship program.

The 4-H team of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County offers opportunities for Madison County students to understand the organizational structure of county government, the importance of civic engagement, and the multitude of career opportunities available within the county.

  • How to make a difference in their community.
  • Designed for high school juniors and seniors in Madison County Schools
  • Youth will interact with county supervisors, county departments, the judges and courts, and visit interesting places within Madison County
