3-year-old Brooklyn of Rome on TLC's 'Toddlers & Tiaras'

Brooklyn Elizabeth is only 3 but she's been competing in pageants for over 2 years. The adorable little Rome girl and her mother Ashley Bird will be featured on 'Toddlers & Tiara's' tonight on TLC.

Brooklyn will compete in the 'Puttin' on the Glitz,' pageant which will showcase her big personality. 'You never know what you're going to get from her,' says mom.

I quickly found that out. I asked her name, which took a few guesses on my part before she told me. I said I'd heard she liked pageants, to which Brooklyn replied, 'No you don't.' Then she told me her favorite color was 'blue' and she had 'to poop.' Hey when you gotta go, you gotta go.

Ashley says Brooklyn 'liked it' and she wasn't 'overdone' for the pageant or the show. She wanted her '3 year old to look like a 3 year old, not a 17 year old.' Ashley also wants to make sure Brooklyn actually wants to be in pageants. 'I'm always telling her we can quit anytime. I don't want to force her into doing something like a lot of moms do.'

Toddler's and Tiara's happens to be one of Miranda Lambert's favorite shows. It was even her Halloween costume last year. 'Maybe she'll call Brooklyn one day,' says mom.
