Most people think beer just causes a beer belly. Actually, it helps fight off sickness! Shape Magazine writes about a study done by the Oregon Health and Science University where beer was able to fight off infection due to the presence of antioxidants. A beer a day keeps the doctor away.

 

2) Prevents Diabetes

Take this one with a grain of salt in your beer: Men's Health Magazine wrote about a study of men who were moderate drinkers for over four years having a less chance of developing diabetes.

 

3) Strengthens Bones

Experts are saying that women who drink at least two beers per day have stronger bones as compared to women who are non-drinkers. This is according to a research in the Natural Medicine Journal.
