Country's biggest stars are teaming up to salute the troops! Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood and Florida Georgia Line are among the first performers announced for 'ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute to the Troops,' a special television event paying tribute to the United States armed forces.

The Band Perry, Merle Haggard and George Strait are also on deck to perform, with even more artists being added to the all-star lineup in the coming weeks.

America's favorite crooners will tape the special on April 7 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Just one day after the ACM Awards, it's sure to be an electric night. The all-star lineup will honor the men and women who have served our country in such incredible ways, and the evening will include stories of their remarkable bravery and integrity.

“We are so thankful for the men and women in our armed forces and proud to present this fantastic night of performances in their honor,” says Bob Romeo, CEO of the ACM. “The special will be a remarkable moment in Academy history."

Proceeds from ticket sales for the show will benefit ACM Lifting Lives, the philanthropic arm of the ACM that is dedicated to improving lives through the power of music. ACM Lifting Lives partners with artists to develop and fund music-related therapy and education programs.

'ACM Presents: An All-Star Tribute to the Troops' will air for all to see on CBS on May 20. For more information, check out ACMcountry.com.
