The awards were just a small part of the ACM's in Las Vegas.  Blake Shelton and new co-host Luke Bryan opened the ceremony by picking on each other.  Although I love them both, Blake out-hosted Luke, who wasn't as natural as Blake.  But he had the most emotional moment of the night when his name was called for Entertainer of the Year.  Luke let all his emotions show with his teary eyed acceptance speech.

As for the entertainment, the show brought together stars from all genres to perform.  The opening number had Blake Shelton singing 'Boy's 'Round Here' with Luke Byran, The Pistol Annies, Brad Paisley and Sheryl Crow.  We were treated to Garth Brooks & George Strait sharing the stage for a Dick Clark tribute, Hunter Hayes teaming up with Stevie Wonder, Brad Paisley with Taylor Swift's ex John Mayer, which could have been a little awkward.  Lucky for Taylor, she was busy singing with Tim McGraw and Keith Urban.  The show closed with Blake, Luke and Stevie Wonder.

We heard new music from Luke Bryan, Little Big Town and Hunter Hayes.  We also saw Eric Church without his signature ball cap and sunglasses for a stripped down, emotional performance of 'Like Jesus Does.'

A pregnant Hillary Scott was glowing as Lady Antebellum performed 'Downtown.'  She may want to think about ditching the high heels shoes.  I worried about her falling down the entire performance.
