2 CNY Schools Make Top 500 in the Nation
Two of the top 500 high schools in the nation are right here in Central New York. The U.S. News ranked the best schools based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.
Hamilton high school ranked #315 nationally and 40th statewide, receiving a gold medal. English and Math proficiency testing came in at 82% and 83%.
New Hartford came in at #460 nationally, also receiving a gold medal. The high school ranked 55th statewide. Students scored 97% in both proficiency in English and Math.
