The stately home at 1513 Genesee Street at the corner of Jewett Place, is being offered for sale by the Utica Urban Renewal Agency, and they have opened the doors to give you a look inside.

The Landmarks Society of Greater Utica includes the building on its list of The Twelve Most Dynamic Preservation Opportunities for 2014 (a makeover of the list once known as the Most Endangered Buildings). The society describes the home this way,

1513 GENESEE STREET at the southwest corner of Jewett, a great Romanesque in style residence, including a great conical tower, ideal for professional offices and apartments.

The building, which was built in about 1890, is available for sale by the Utica Urban Renewal Agency. See the full photo gallery on the agency's Facebook page.
