Eric Paslay is ready to take the Wild West FrogFest & Rodeo stage July 23rd at the Utica Rome Speedway. We caught up with the 'High Class' artist to play a round of speed questions. Here's 12 things you may not have known about Paslay.

QUESTION: Who’s at the top of your list for your hall pass?

ANSWER: I don’t know. I like my wife a lot and we just got married. I don’t really have one of those. Who’s the chick in the notebook? Rachael McAdams, she's cool.

QUESTION: Where do you see yourself in 25 years?

ANSWER: Still playing music and writing songs.

QUESTION: What's your most annoying habit?

ANSWER: Uhh.. telling my wife how to drive.

QUESTION: What’s one thing you can’t leave your house or your bus without?

ANSWER: My insulin pump. I’ve got juvenile diabetes, so there ya go.

QUESTION: What are you bad at?

ANSWER: Nothing, I’m just bad.

QUESTION: What’s your biggest pet peeve?

ANSWER: People complaining about first world problems.

QUESTION: What's your most embarrassing moment?

ANSWER: I dressed up like Cam the other night on tour. It was Cam’s joke and she typically goes out on stage on “Whiskey Lullaby,” which is a really serious song and I love the song. And I was like, “okay, I got a perfect prank for ‘em.” So I dressed up like her, sat on the bar stool where she usually sits. She sang behind the bar and I came out and lip-sang it. I don’t know if Brad liked it yet. He didn’t say anything, I think he might kinda smiled. The crowd thought it was funny. Basically, I think his wheel started turning on, “we really, really have to get Eric’s crew now.” So I’ve seen crickets and all kinds of awfulness on our bus. Probably like dead fish and it’ll still be smelling when we get to y’all probably.

QUESTION: If we went on your bus and opened your fridge, what would we find in there?

ANSWER: You’d see coconut water, soy milk, almond milk, regular milk, we got all kinds of stuff on there. There’s occasionally beer. I don’t drink a ton of beer just ‘cause of my diabetes. Probably some fruits, some probiotic drink. I try to be healthy.

QUESTION: When was the moment you knew you made it?

ANSWER: Have I made it? I’m kidding. I’m glad I did a gradual climb. Used to be no one in airports would say “hey” to me and now I get selfied a couple of times, so it’s cool.

QUESTION: If you could play a reality show, what would you be on?

ANSWER: Is HGTV a reality show? Is building a house a reality show?

QUESTION: So if you’re not writing music and you’re not on tour and you’re not building something, what do you do with that free time?

ANSWER: I’ve moved out to the lake about 3 years ago and I’ve never fished so little in my life. So I like fishing when I have the chance. I like golf too. I’m not too bad at that. I haven’t played in a while though. I’m good enough to not piss people off that I play with but the people behind us. I’ll never hit the amazing shot, but I usually shoot bogie or worse.

QUESTION: We decided that this is going to be our last question just in case it makes you mad, because I’m sure you’ve heard it ten-thousand times. How tall are you?

ANSWER: I’m 5 foot 16, without boot on. We were in Canada and I kept saying that answer and they measure everything in centimeters or meters or something and they were just looking at me like, “I have no clue if this is a joke.”

We look forward to seeing Paslay at FrogFest and so is he. "Hey, y’all are awesome. Thanks for doing what you do. I’m sure everybody loves y’all in the morning. Y’all rock."
