  6. Fort Stanwix National Monument: This is a restored Revolutionary War fort and museum located in the city of Rome, NY. Fort Stanwix displays original artifacts and exhibits from that time period. Call 315-336-2090 for hours of operation.
  7. Fort Rickey Game Farm: This is a zoo unlike any other. Fort Rickey Game Farm hosts a children zoo which allows visitors to interact with the animals. During the fall season, the farm hosts a fall festival in which visitors can paint pumpkins.  Fort Rickey's rates and hours vary by season.
  8. H.P. Sears Service Station Museum: This is the only remaining service station of the original design. It features a nostalgic exterior and educational interior and is home to an authentic gas pump, oil changing station and various other artifacts from 1929.
